While many of us are looking to get through Winter, Y-3 is looking ahead. The iconic streetwear imprint is back with a look into 2020, dropping the first look at their new Spring/Summer 2020 range. The collection is centered on a theme of Craft, offering unique and eye-catching design throughout. The designs incorporate dramatic proportions, embroidered graphics, and premium materials along the way.
With a focus on craftsmanship, the collection features inspirations from Bosozoku, the Japanese motorcycle subculture. We see this in the graphics, including a “Roaring Black Crow.” This references Yohji Yamamoto‘s early nickname. For footwear, the brand is back with a new silhouette dubbed the RHISU RUN. The lightweight sneaker features BOOST technology, offering a breathable dual-layer mesh upper. The sneakers are outfitted with suede and reflective detailing, while the KAIWA gets a solid new update as well. The new range is sure to elevate your wardrobe for the months ahead.
Don’t sleep on this outstanding new range. Take a closer look at the new range in the images below and look for the collection to arrive on December 5 on Y-3’s website. Keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more style and streetwear selections coming very soon.
