Located off the coast of Dongshan Island is a personal oasis designed by Dong Xinmeng. The Hi Sea Floating House is not your typical floating house. Though, is any floating house typical? This stunning dwelling features 5,000-square-feet of space and is surrounded by nothing by water. The structure is docked by 16 metal anchors while operating completely off-grid.
Essentially a private island, the home is constructed from corrosion-resistant material used on yachts. The decking is made with weather-resistant flooring that looks like timber. The interior features wood-lined details that stretch through the living spaces and private areas of the home.
The spacious living areas boast unrivaled views of the water, while the deck extends the interior to a spa and circular lounge area. The Hi Sea Floating House is simply stunning. The dwelling is a prime example of modern architecture and exceptional attention to detail.
