Throwback Shade from Ace & Tate

It might not be Thursday when you read this but the newest eyewear designs by Ace&Tate will have you anticipating your next #tbt post. The direct-to-consumer brand is celebrating retro sunglass styles featuring chunky and fun acetate that remind us of styles popular in the 60s and 70s.

Now… I remember being a kid and rocking hightop fades, gumbys, and seeing the occasional TWA (teenie weenie afro). I’ll even go so far as to reminisce on the glasses issued in basic military training falling under the BCG (birth control glasses) nomenclature. But, all is coming full circle.

While we continue to celebrate styles birthed in the 1900s (oh gosh) Andy, Blake, and Morgan’s exaggerated shapes are an incredible compliment to the vintage and sophisticated fashion we find ourselves adorned in. Check out the full collection with or without the shaded lenses over at Ace&Tate.
