The good folks over at Casio G-SHOCK have a legacy of creating iconic timepieces. The 6900 series is legendary, and this year it’s celebrating its 25th anniversary. To commemorate the moment, the imprint has created a stunning new iteration dubbed the G-SHOCK GM-6900 “Metal Bezel” series. The timepiece was first unveiled back in 1995 and grew to prominence for its “Third Eye” nickname. This upgraded iteration includes a mirror finish on the metal bezel with a matte hairline finish to accentuate the gear-inspired design.
It’s offered in three bold color options, including silver, gold, and cardinal red, each utilizing a black strap to contrast things a bit. The brand also has plans to release another 25th-anniversary option in the G-SHOCK GM-6900SP. This will include a matching metal construction but with a major twist of translucence complete with an iridescent gradation on the face. The blue, pink, and green indicators add a colorful element to the design, while a ‘25’ monogram marks the milestone. The Casio G-SHOCK GM-6900 timepiece is set to drop at international retailers starting Wednesday, February 12, in three different color options. The other options will arrive shortly thereafter.
