Richard Mille has a reputation for luxurious, eye-catching, modern timepieces. Known for crafting bold, colorful, and stunning tourbillon watches, they are back with a special collaboration. Today we get our first look at the Richard Mille x Pharrell RM 52-05. This space-themed timepiece is sleek and stylish, boasting outstanding attention to detail. The timepiece is powered by a manual winding tourbillon movement, boasting a grade 5 titanium baseplate and bridges.
The blue aventurine glass inserts resemble space visible through the crystal case-back. The front is adorned with a helmet and spacesuit structure, also made from grade 5 titanium. Details of diamonds and black sapphires on either side of the helmet represent projectors and cameras. There is also a curved 5N gold visor was engraved, grand-feu-enameled, and then hand-painted to depict an astronaut’s view of Earth from Mars. Brown Cermet is used to craft the bezel and case back perimeter, both affixed to a caseband made from carbon TPT.
