If you haven’t gotten familiar with the artist known as tobi lou, now would be a great time to do so. Back in 2019, he served up a solid project entitled ‘Live On Ice.’ Since then, we’ve been wanting more, and today he’s back with precisely that. This time tobi reveals a brand new single entitled “Hot Tub Time Machine.” The track is his first offering for 2020, and as expected, he doesn’t disappoint.
The track finds tobi providing us with a dose of his uncanny abilities behind the mic, getting a solid backdrop to excel upon. The single is pushed by these cool, smooth, yet hard-hitting drum sections, which are seamlessly paired with some slick melodic elements. The combination allows tobi to showcase his talents, and he does so flawlessly. While ‘Live On Ice’ is still getting play around these parts, we’re always wondering about what’s next. No word on where “Hot Tub Time Machine” may land, or if tobi is working on a new album, but we will keep you updated.
