Tyler, the Creator’s New Converse GLF 2.0

Back like he left something, Tyler, The Creator returns with another collaboration with Converse. This time around, the designer, wordsmith, and more have joined forces with the sportswear label for a stunning pair of sneakers, the Converse GLF 2.0. The new offering features a minimalistic design and was first spotted on the artist in a video last July. The sneakers blend an old-school aesthetic with contemporary design cues, providing something stylish, eye-catching, and unique.

The silhouette features smooth design lines that run along the upper, while the base is adorned in canvas. Suede overlays provide a textural contrast, boasting retro references displayed throughout. The design features remixed Converse license plates and GOLF le FLEUR* branding on the tongues. The sneakers are finished off with a lightweight CX liner and cup sole build, which adds comfort and stability.

The silhouette’s inaugural drop will include two colorways, “Oil Green/Bison” and “Curry/Copper Tan,” and they are set to release through Converse on June 9th. Take a closer look at the fresh new kicks in the images below and pick your favorites up asap. While you’re at it, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more outstanding new footwear coming very soon.
