Modern architecture is compelling, captivating, and inspiring. There is something special about a striking contemporary structure, and the Apfelhotel Torgglerhof is certainly that. This beautiful dwelling sits among apple orchards, meadows, and mountains in South Tyrol. The home has reimagined the ordinary rural retreat, combining modern luxury with a farmstead getaway. Dubbed a “farm-hotel,” the concept was brought to life with the help of noa* network of architecture.
The project includes new guest rooms, a wellness center, and a restaurant. The aim of the space is to immerse guests in the landscape and the architecture. The “farm-hotel” also boasts an additional 18 suites that infuse a traditional barn aesthetic with a contemporary nod.
The natural materials create an inviting approach while open terraces, hammocks, and expansive views are a nice touch. The restaurant expansion comes in the form of a collection of aluminum pavilions that flow into a garden. The light-filled interior makes for a cozy space to relax and enjoy some excellent fare. The final project was the wellness center. The space is burrowed into a hillside with a curved concrete facade that leads to a two-story spa.
Here we find the massage rooms, an indoor-outdoor pool, and a Finnish sauna. Take a closer look at this beautiful, modern retreat in the images below and plan your stay at Apfelhotel Torgglerhof right now.
