The creative minds over at Vans are no strangers to iconic footwear. Vault By Vans returns today with a classic silhouette boasting a modern update via Maha Amsterdam. The sneaker retailer and sneaker imprint have paired up for a unique collaboration that will be dropping soon. The two have cooked up a stunning iteration of the OG Style 36 LX. The legendary design serves as a versatile base which is packed with classic style and an eye-catching colorway.
The collaboration features the skate brand’s iconic checker pattern, which comes in an orange and white colorway. The scheme was inspired by the Dutch pastry, Orange Tompouce. This flawless design was inspired by the thin puff pastry, which is filled with cream and topped with pink icing. Orange icing is used to honor the traditions of King’s Day in Amsterdam, representing the Dutch colors in the process. The sneakers have a classic low top appeal with an elevated colorway that makes the perfect combination for Summer.
