Harlem’s very own, Vado and Jim Jones are back. The two MC’s recently joined forces, creating an infectious new single for our listening enjoyment. Today we bring to you, “Jeff Hamilton.” The track finds Vado and Jimmy going in over top of this menacing, street shaking instrumental to showcase their talents. In the process, the fellas speak fondly on “Jeff Hamilton.”
In case you don’t know, Mr. Hamilton was a famed designer who created loud and iconic jackets worn by some of the biggest sports stars on the planet. His iconic work has been worn by the likes of Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Muhammad Ali, and countless others. Now Vado and Jim Jones celebrate the designer with an infectious new heater produced by GP Beat Bangerz.
The track is pushed by these slick, sharp and crisp drum sections which are seamlessly paired with some contagious melodic elements. The combination provides a solid home for the two MC”s to do their thing. Both bring their a-game, cooking up something addictively smooth and quite solid in the process.
Whatever you do today, don’t sleep on this one. The fellas certainly showcase their talents well and provide us with something exceptional to rock with along the way.
