It’s never a bad day when we get some new music from Wale. The wordsmith has stayed busy the past year and a half, dropping some impressive singles along the way. Today Wale returns, pairing up with Chris Brown once again, this time around for a new single called “Angles.” Certainly not the first time these two have featured together on a track; this one is certainly something impressive.
Wale and Chris have worked together on tracks like “Heaven On Earth,” “It’s Yo Sh*t” with Tyga, and Ace Hood’s “Body To Body.” Now they cook up another one, one we wouldn’t suggest sleeping on. “Angles” is the latest from the wordsmith, following up his tracks “Good Vibes,” a guest spot on “Options” by EarthGang, and on Westside Gunn’s “The Hurt Business.” Wale gets an impressive instrumental to do his thing, and he definitely doesn’t let us down. Chris Brown holds down the vocal end of things, showcasing his smooth delivery and range along the way.
Wale raps: “Internationally known on this microphone Holyfield, Ross crib, we at Tyson’s through Lonely nights, I’m alright, I can vibe alone.” The track was produced by Hitmaka, OG Parker, $K, and Louxtwo, who laced the duo with something incredible. Both artists reciprocate nicely and provide us with an infectiously smooth new single to rock with.
