The DMV representative, known as Wale, is back. The wordsmith has been dropping new material steadily over the past few years, and he’s back with a new single today. The lyricist continues to drop off new music for our listening enjoyment, which continues here. Never one to disappoint, Wale again shows off his lyrical prowess and style. Wale links up with DJ Money for a brand new track entitled “Lions, Bengals & Bears.”
The track arrives after dropping The Imperfect Store EP earlier this year, showcasing his lyrical talents with his uncanny style and delivery. “Lions, Bengals & Bears” features production from DJ Money, who provides a soulful backdrop for the wordsmith to do his thing. Wale takes to the instrumental and effortlessly shows off his talents behind the mic. He loads the track with some of his smooth punchlines, as well as plenty of NFL references. He even manages to throw in a Jason Whitlock diss.
