Pittsburgh’s very own Wiz Khalifa made his return over the weekend. The wordsmith returned with a surprise for everyone, serving up a brand new project called ‘Wiz Got Wings.’ The new album finds Wiz linking up with the talents of Cardo and Sledgren, who have worked together on some of the artist’s best material.
‘Wiz Got Wings’ features fourteen new tracks that find Cardo and Sledgren handling all of the production. Loaded with gems, the album includes a handful of exceptional features as well. Curren$y, Larry June, and Taylor Gang members Chevy Woods, Young Deji, and Fedd The God all make an appearance, showing out lyrically and putting together a solid display of their respective talents.
Along the way, Wiz delivers standouts like “Player of the Year,” “Purple Fantasy,” “The Finer Things,” “More Than Ever,” “Know Better,” and “Wiz Got Wings.” If you’re a Wiz Khalifa fan of old, you’ll appreciate this one.
