Wrapped Around Life | The Woodhouse 2.0

Modern architecture comes in an array of shapes and sizes. Today we take a look at a beautiful modern structure dubbed the Woodhouse 2.0. While just a concept, this structure is certainly something dreams are made of. The home is imagined in an oak forest in Long Island. The design boasts a circular structure resting among the trees. The outer shell of the home blends with the natural scenery, as well as with a touch of concrete and vertical wooden planks.

This unique harmony allows the home to embrace its location. The large panels of glazing provide views of the landscape all around. The inner facade is made entirely of glass, wrapping around a central courtyard. The transparent barrier provides exceptional views while also allowing natural light to flood the home. It also creates a seamless connection between the home and the outdoor area.

Take a closer look at this beautiful modern structure in the images below and find out more about the design from Marchi Architects right now. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more outstanding examples of architecture coming soon.
