Dallas’ very own, Yella Beezy made his return over the weekend. While kicking off 2020 quietly, Yella returns today to make some big news with a new single. This time around the wordsmith serves up “Headlocc,” featuring Young Thug. The track serves as a follow up to his single, “Ay Ya Ya Ya” with Ty Dolla $ign, which dropped back in late 2019. Now Yella links up with Young Thug and showcases his lyrical talents once again.
The track was produced by Monstah Beatz, who laced the two with something exceptional. The track is packed with energetic drum work and these incredibly addictive melodies. The combination provides both MC’s with a nice home to do their thing. They bring their A-game and their respective style to the track, in turn, providing us with something worth adding to the selection. No word on where this track may end up, or if Yella Beezy has a new project in the works. However, it’s one we wouldn’t suggest sleeping on.
