Young Lee Reveals ‘Our Buddies’ Sculpture

The Korean artist Young Lee creates colorful works that blend animals, people, and emotion. Lee recently concluded a solo exhibition at the VILLAZAN gallery in Madrid. Today she is back, releasing her first sculpture. The piece, entitled ‘Our Buddies, ‘ is her first-ever sculpture and includes a range of her unique, colorful characters.

Lee stated: “It is important to me to create a playful visual world that invites the viewer to participate.” The sculpture is cast in resin and hand-finished through a mixed-media application. ‘Our Buddies’ is an edition of fifty and will be available to purchase for $2,142 USD. You can sign up on the VILLAZAN website and complete the inquiry form to join the worldwide raffle. Winners are set to be announced on June 20th.
