2019 has been a big year in music. It’s been an especially busy year for Your Old Droog as he’s served up a barrage of outstanding new material all year. New York City’s very own, Your Old Droog is back. The wordsmith returns with his third new project of 2019, unleashing ‘Jewelry.’ The new album finds the wordsmith giving us twelve new tracks, showing off his lyrical prowess and delivery along the way. Never one to disappoint, Droog unleashes a barrage of his undeniable abilities.
Along the way, he pairs up with the likes of MF DOOM, mach-hommy, Tha God Fahim, and Matisyahu. The album includes a bevy of excellent new material, following his two previous releases, ‘It Wasn’t Even Close; and ‘Transportation.’ Droog always delivers with some slick wordplay and some contagious new instrumentals. He doesn’t disappoint with this one, serving up a barrage of new lyrical showcases. Some of our favorites include “BDE,” “Diamonds,” “Stoop Kid,” “Jewelry,” and “The Greatest To Ever Do It.” Droog does his thing and does it well, cooking up a solid showcase of his abilities behind the mic and giving us a dose of his uncanny sound.
