For those of you who haven’t gotten acquainted with Your Old Droog, what are you doing? The wordsmith makes his return to the interwebs today with a brand new project, serving up a brand new opus entitled ‘Time.’ The new album arrives after 2020’s Dump YOD: Krutoy Edition and a pair of projects with Tha God Fahim that dropped earlier this year.
The new project, ‘Time,’ finds Droog doing what he does best. The MC laces us with a dose of his lyrical talents, serving up his witty wordplay, gritty rhymes, and infectious talents. This man never disappoints, and he certainly doesn’t start today. ‘Time’ comes loaded up with fifteen new tracks, including a handful of exceptional guest appearances. Along the way, Droog pairs up with the likes of the late MF DOOM, Blu, Aesop Rock, eLZhi, Mick Jenkins, and Wiki. A few worthy standouts include “Dropout Boogie,” “Lost Time,” “Field of Dreams,” and “One Move.”
