Quavo – Practice Makes Perfect

It’s been a minute since we last heard from the Quavo. Back in 2018, the wordsmith dropped his debut solo project, QUAVO HUNCHO, but since then, he’s been quiet on the solo side of things. The ATL’s very own and Migos representative, Quavo, is back. The wordsmith makes his return to the interwebs with a brand new track entitled “Practice Makes Perfect.” The track comes as the Migos are putting the finishing touches on their upcoming project, Culture III.

The track also marks the first solo release from the MC since the 2018 album, QUAVO HUNCHO, while kicking off the new year with something contagious. “Practice Makes Perfect” is driven by some hard-hitting, deep bass drums while backed by some snappy, crisp percussion. The catchy melodic elements are a nice touch, fitting seamlessly with the rhythm section. The combination provides Quavo with a nice home to do his thing, and he certainly does fall short. This man never disappoints, and he certainly doesn’t start on this one.

Do yourself a favor and check out the contagious new single, “Practice Makes Perfect” in the stream below. In the meantime, be sure to check out the latest installment of our weekly playlist ‘A Curation of Sound.’
