The one and only, Rob Markman is back. The wordsmith/journalist makes his return to the interwebs with a brand new single, serving another solid offering for our listening enjoyment. Mr. Markman drops off, “Don’t Beg, Don’t Borrow.” The track follows last year’s It’s Too Late At The Wake, and it’s also his first single of 2020.
Rob pairs up with Saint Pat Beatz, who laced the wordsmith with something special to do his thing upon. The three-minute track is pushed by these snappy, menacing drum sections, which are seamlessly paired with some contagious melodic elements. This infectious backdrop provides Mr. Markman with an exceptional home to excel upon. The wordsmith speaks in-depth about the lack of reciprocity in the music industry and shows off his lyrical prowess as usual.
