The Southern crooner known as Bobby V is back. It’s been a minute since the last time we heard from Bobby V, but he returns with something smooth. Last year Bobby V dropped off his latest full-length project, a smooth effort entitled ‘Elektrik.’ Now he returns with a new single entitled “Everybody,” which we hope signals a solid follow-up project. The track arrives after Bobby treated fans on B2K’s Millenium Tour.
“Everybody” is driven by this incredibly contagious instrumental, minimal yet smooth. The track is pushed by these guitar-driven melodies which come paired with some slick percussion work. The result is something remarkable for Bobby to do his thing upon and he does so rather well. The track finds Bobby getting back to the basics while investigating his love interested to see if she is just stringing him along. Bobby sings: “I know you’re young and living I don’t want to be selfish. I just want you to myself I really can’t help it.” He contemplates his moves while effortlessly showing off his vocal prowess along the way.
