Built Functional | Mission Workshop Unveils The Mission Jean

A good pair of jeans is hard to find. For many of us, once you have found our “perfect” jeans, it’s hard to part with them. Mission Workshop is back, and they return with a new and improved pair of jeans. The Mission jean was created to make our lives more comfortable and stylish. The brand has improved its advanced 5-pocket Mission Jean. The Mission Jean comes crafted for a level of performance beyond what has been possible.

The jeans are not made from traditional indigo denim. Instead, the design utilizes an advanced stretch-woven fabric developed exclusively for Mission Workshop. The fabrice comes from Mectex S.p.a. who created it at their mill near Lake Como in Italy. The Mission Jean boasts an extremely high level of 4-way stretch that does not sacrifice durability or structure.

The result is a material with a tough workwear-like appearance, but that has extraordinary freedom of movement similar to knit track pants. The fabric will also not bag out no matter how long the pants are worn. The changes implemented offer an improved fit with slightly more room in the thigh on the straight fit, and a slightly more narrow leg opening on the slim fit.

The Mission Jean is made in small batches in Los Angeles, and they are built to last. The jeans boast a traditional 5-pocket construction. The highly breathable design wicks moisture and will keep you comfortable no matter what your adventure entails.

Take a closer look at the Mission Jean in the images below and head over to Mission Workshop to find out more. Keep it locked here to The Culture Curators for much more style and functional streetwear coming soon.
