Our hunt for new music never stops, and why would it? We love scouring for new tunes, and one artist we haven’t heard from in a minute makes his return. The Windy City has always been a hot spot for outstanding lyricists. Chicago’s very own, Calez has made some noise over the past several years, and he’s back after a brief hiatus. The wordsmith is back with a smooth, yet gritty new effort entitled “King’s Talk.”
Calez always delivers a solid dose of his incredible talents behind the mic, and he certainly doesn’t fall short on this one. The wordsmith gets busy over top of some production from Holly, who laces the MC with something tough, catching, and impressive. Calez responds with some of his fitting wordplay, effortless showing off his style and delivery along the way. As always, he weaves together some impressive bars and delivers nicely over top of that impressive instrumental.
