Catch It If You Can | Stonehenge Summer Solstice Livestream

While visiting anywhere right now would be a dream come true, it’s a bit easier said than done. However, modern technology is assisting, letting us take virtual tours of locations across the globe. Now we can add Stonehenge to the list. Stonehenge was built around the solstice, and people worldwide take in the sight every year. This year is a bit different, which is where modern technology comes into play.

This year you can attend the Summer Solstice celebration from the comfort of your own home. In a move to reduce the number of visitors at the ancient site, the English Heritage organization will live stream the event. The solstice event can draw upwards of 20,000 people, though bringing it to the masses via live stream is sure to add to those numbers. Anyone looking to see it in person don’t fret, Stonehenge isn’t going anywhere, anytime soon. You can surely visit in 2021.

For those interested, find out more about the Stonehenge Summer Solstice live stream and tune in for yourself. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more virtual ways to see the world.
