Celebrate Craftsmanship! The adidas ZX 5000 “Vieux Lyon”

The good folks over at adidas have returned. This time around, they are back with an expansion of the A-ZX series of footwear, doing so with a new iteration of the ZX 5000. The latest take on the iconic silhouette is dubbed the ZX 5000 “Vieux Lyon.” The design gets its name from the city of Lyon, which is where the Jacquard weaving technique began. The sneaker serves as a celebration of craftsmanship, design, and innovation, doing so with a bold, slick colorway that is sure to catch attention.

The ZX 5000 “Vieux Lyon” is seen draped in a woven custom Jacquard upper in two colors. A muted gray is seen around the heel and toebox, while dark purple provides a contrasting touch at the ankle and tongue. The upper is further accented with custom lace jewels, pink Three Stripe branding, and more.

The sock liner is seen with ““La Marque Aux 3 Bandes,” which is the French translation of “The Brand with the Three Stripes.” The silhouette is finished off with the ZX 5000’s signature sole unit, adding comfort and stability in the process.
