The Japanese artist Takashi Murakami is back. This time around, he has aligned with smart Magazine for the “Flowers” Pancake Pan. The pan is slated to be released alongside smart’s upcoming April issue. The item causes the pre-order to sell out almost instantly, offering an artistic way to play with your food.
The pan comes in a round shape with indentations that create Murakami’s flower figure directly onto each pancake. A metal handle is riveted to a plastic section, which is adorned with three flowers in white. For those that missed out on the first pre-order round, don’t worry. A second pre-order for smart magazine’s April issue with Takashi Murakami’s “Flowers” Pancake Pan will be available on select Japanese retail sites. Those sites include Amazon Japan and Rakuten Books.
