G-Eazy – I Wanna Rock Ft. Gunna

The west coast native, G-Eazy is back. This man has been on his grind as of late, serving up a dose of new material along with some b-sides. Today he returns with something new and contagious for our listening enjoyment. The track is called “I Wanna Rock,” produced by Boi-1da. The single finds Eazy sharing this smooth, yet energetic backdrop with Gunna, as both bring their a-game. The track comes to life with a fitting set of visuals, but the focus for now is on the track.

“I Wanna Rock” is driven by these rattling percussion elements, paired with this deep, hard hitting bass drums that blend seamlessly with some rolling melodies. The track has a haunting, dark aesthetic, which is brought to life in the video. G-Eazy and Gunna showcase their respective talents, doing so with a dose of their respective delivery and style.

G-Eazy raps, “I don’t follow trends I just follow tens,” adding “Still the white boy in the club who can’t Milly Rock.” Gunna Then comes through to do his thing, doing so with his uncanny deliver and infectious abilities. The video fits flawlessly with the track, as the fellas are surrounded by scantily clad women, which is a far cry from the madhouse they left back in the beginning of the video.

Check out the new track, and the visuals, in the stream below and look for more from G-Eazy coming soon. No word on where this one might live, but hopefully he’s working on something new. Keep it locked here with The Culture Curators for more new music coming soon.
