All good things must come to an end. The same is true about the longstanding relationship between Alexander Wang and adidas Originals. The two iconic imprints have come together to reveal their sixth and final collaborative effort. The new Fall/Winter 2019 collection is conceptualized around a “Club Leisure” theme.” Wang and the brand with the three stripes bring a futuristic edge to footwear, garments, and accessories, offering a unique collection in the process.
The range was designed with clubbing & chilling in mind. While each piece from the collection is rooted in classic streetwear, it also nods to Wang’s theme of empowered femininity. Three footwear silhouettes are seen, including the Turnout Trainer, Puff Trainer, and Bball Soccer. Each pair comes in a duo of colorways, boasting Wang’s signature flipped adidas branding. The Turnout Trainer takes on a modernized look, doing so with a space-style synthetic upper. The Puff Trainer and Bball Soccer lean more towards the classic end of things, boasting ripstop, mesh, or suede constructions. The trio of footwear is seen alongside a selection of apparel and accessories. These include puffer jackets, track tops, and so much more. A duo of co-branded duffel bags complete the collection.
