The good folks over at Vans are back at it, kicking off the new year with some new style. This time around, the iconic imprint has teamed up with the Where’s Waldo book series to co-create a collaborative apparel and footwear capsule. The new project arrives after the brand paired up with designer Suwukou for a “Year of the Ox” sneaker capsule.
Where’s Waldo has been entertaining kids and adults for over three decades. Now the iconic picture book invades the word of streetwear for a dose of classic style and modern flair. The new collection features Where’s Waldo graphics translated onto a range of classic silhouettes and apparel.
The range includes the Old Skool, Authentic, Sk8-Hi, and the Slip-On. Throughout, we find various designs that incorporate beach scenery, Waldo’s white and red striped shirt patterns, and more.
There are even an array of apparel options as well. Here we find a t-shirt with beach imagery coupled with “Off the Wall” branding. There is also a red and white striped tee with all-over pictures of Waldo himself, a white tee with Waldo’s portrait image, and co-branded logos.
To finish off the apparel, Vans has created a grey hoodie with striped patterns and two snapbacks. The collection is colorful and unique, striking and sleek, offering a dose of classic style and modern appeal.
