PLEASURES has always showcased its connection to music. The imprint is back today, further exploring that connection with a new collaboration. This time the streetwear label has teamed up with celebrated band The Flaming Lips. The two have paired up for a wide range of new apparel that honors and pays homage to one of the greatest and most prolific bands ever.
The Flaming Lips got their start in 1983 and have released 17 studio albums and several compilations. From their celebrated videos to their unforgettable singles, the band has become an icon. The legacy of the band is celebrated with this new collection, which aims to look back at the past four decades. The band offers a blend of alternative, psychedelic, experimental, electronic and post-punk rock sounds. This has all inspired the new collection, which was created in close partnership with Warner Music Artist Services.
The range is centered around The Flaming Lips’ archive of iconic graphic artwork. The capsule includes a hoodie and t-shirt, which feature the “Drugs Help” collage print. We also see the classic “I drank blood with God” graphic, which is sure to take you back in time.
