Intricate Influences | K-Swiss Reveals ‘Breaking Bad’ RV Sneakers

The good folks over at K-Swiss are back at it again. This time around, the American footwear brand returns to celebrate the release of El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie. In doing so, they have teamed up with the AMC series on a pair of highly limited Classic 2000 sneakers. Officially dubbed the K-Swiss x Breaking Bad Classic 2000 “Recreational Vehicle,” the sneakers are influenced by the rundown RV-turned-mobile-meth-lab driven by Walter White.

The sneakers come rocking some subtle details that are a direct reference to the infamous RV. The off-white upper features a multicolor stripe color scheme that wraps around the shoe. The silhouette is then finished off with a lining that references the vehicle’s upholstery. The kicks come housed in a shoebox that continues the theme with the same striped colorways seen on the shoe and RV.

The bullet holes are from the pilot episode, furthering the attention to detail in the process. K-Swiss will only release 300 pairs, and to get your hands on a pair, look for them on the Greenhouse app and at the Breaking Bad Experience in Hollywood. 50 pairs will be available for purchase at the Hollywood event, with the remaining 250 pairs available through the Greenhouse app. If any are left after the limited run, the sneakers will then be released on kswiss.com in late October 2019.

Take a closer look at the detailed design in the images below and look for more new footwear coming soon. In the meantime, keep it locked in with The Culture Curators for more on these from K-Swiss coming soon.
