We stay on the hunt for new music. Why? Well, first and foremost, to add to our listening rotation. However, we also do it for you, sharing new tracks and projects that you should be aware of. Texas native, Jay Wile invades our music feed today. The up and coming artist has dropped off a new EP and its certainly one we would suggest adding to your rotation. Jay has unleashed an impressive new effort entitled ‘Somewhere in Mind.’
The new EP finds the artist serving up six brand new tracks, doing so while holding down the vocals and the production. The project is smooth and soulful, unique, contagious, and quite impressive, to say the least. Jay Wile recently opened up about the project and his sound. He stated, “This has all been such a journey for me discovering my musical process and surrounding myself with the right energy along the way.”
Mr. Wile went on to add that “I hope that the music resonates with y’all in some way and the stories that we’ve told through the music come to life on this EP.” The project is full of refreshing new material. Some of our favorites include “Get It Back,” “In Bloom,” and “Can’t Keep Lovin You,” which he performs live. This dude is not the one to sleep on, and this new EP is one we wouldn’t suggest overlooking.
