If you haven’t had the opportunity to get acquainted with Kenny Mason, now would be a great time to do so. The artist has unleashed a number of mixtapes and singles through the years. Though he broke out a bit in 2019 with a single called “Hit.” Today Mr. Mason returns with his formal introduction, his debut album, ‘Angelic Hoodrat.’ The new project is certainly one worth adding to the rotation. Kenny shows off his talents behind the mic flawlessly, doing so on his own all the way through.
‘Angelic Hoodrat’ features fourteen new tracks, and Kenny doesn’t disappoint along the way. Standouts like “PTSD,” “Metal Wings,” and “Once Again” show off his range and his versatility. However, some other notable singles include “Petty Thoughts,” “Hit,” and “Lean.” Mason provides a solid showcase of his talents, his style, and his uncanny wordplay. He does so over top of some impressive instrumentals, which all come together for an incredible listening experience. As we mentioned above, if you haven’t gotten familiar with Kenny Mason, this would be a great place to start.
