After spending a few years focusing on his work with BROCKHAMPTON, Kevin Abstract is looking to drop something of his own. The artist has been hinting at a new solo album, and today he returns with a brand new single. This time around, Kevin serves up an impressive new single entitled “Sierra Nights.” The track features frequent collaborator, Ryan Beatty, while the two showcase their respective talents along the way.
The track will live on Kevin’s upcoming opus, which will be his first since 2019’s Arizona Baby. “Sierra Nights” finds the two artists going in over top of something contagious and quite smooth. Driven by these infectious melodies and some crisp, clean drum work, the backdrop provides a nice home for the duo to showcase their style.
Kevin and Ryan effortlessly do their thing, which comes to life in a matching visual. The duo is seen riding through Southern California, living their best life while hitting us with their uncanny smoothness. This is certainly one we do not suggest sleeping on.
