With a new album slated to arrive later this week, the late rapper King Von is back. The estate of King Von has shared the MC’s latest single from his embed project, What It Means To Be King. The single is called “War.” The wordsmith does his thing, providing a vivid look into his younger life while putting together a solid display of his lyrical talents.
The track was produced by Chopsquad DJ and features Von getting a bit retrospective. The MC looks back in time to his life growing up in O Block while also opening up about his desire to create a new beginning for himself. The track is pushed by these ominous-sounding keys while paired with some hard-hitting, bass-heavy drum work. Von does his thing and puts together something worth your time and attention.
