If you haven’t yet gotten familiar with Koffee’s sounds, now would be a great time to do so. After serving up her breakout in 2019, the artist has made quite a name for herself. She’s back with a brand new single, offering up a smooth new effort called “Lockdown.” The aptly titled track arrives after last year’s “W,” which featured Gunna. This time around, Koffee holds things down on her own and gives us another reason to be a fan.
The new track, “Lockdown,” is driven by these incredibly infectious melodic elements, which are paired with an energetic mid-tempo rhythm section. The result is something special as Koffee shows off her range and impressive talents behind the mic. She’s certainly a rising star worth keeping your eyes on. She provides another addictive showcase, arriving after she added a great verse to “Don’t Walk Away” off John Legend’s Bigger Love album.
