The one and only, Lecrae is back! It’s been a minute since we’ve gotten a new project from the lyricist, but that all changes now. Today Lecrae is back with his new album ‘Restoration.’ The album arrives after his collaboration with Zaytoven in 2018, and his first solo effort since 2017’s All Things Work Together. ‘Restoration’ finds the MC giving us a dose of his thoughtful and thought-provoking wordplay, providing another impressive addition to the catalog.
The new album arrives with fourteen new tracks, including “Deep End.” Along the way, the wordsmith is joined by a few familiar faces such as John Legend, YK Osiris, BJ the Chicago Kid, Marc E. Bassy, and more. Elsewhere he’s joined by Jozzy, DaniLeigh, Gwen Bunn, and Kirk Franklin.
Lecrae recently spoke about the album. He stated: “God knew years ago what I needed to go through to make this album.” He went on to add, “God develops through trials. The enemy destroys through temptation. I experienced both. I was at the top but felt like I was at the bottom, and I needed to be restored.”
