Back in 2018, Lil Wayne served up his long-awaited project, Tha Carter V. The album was initially supposed to drop in 2014, but due to a contract dispute, the album was shelved for nearly four years. The album the fans received was far from the version that was teased before its release. Six years after the original announcement, Tunechi is back, and he delivers the album that was originally promised.
The wordsmith has re-released the album with seven new tracks for our listening enjoyment. The latest release serves as a glimpse of what Wayne had originally planned to release. Along the way, he pairs up with a bevy of incredible artists. He pairs his lyrical prowess with that of Raekwon, 2 Chainz, Gucci Mane, and Post Malone, joining the already impressive guest list. The rest of the project includes features from Kendrick Lamar, Nicki Minaj, Travis Scott, Snoop Dogg, Ashanti, and others.
