The one and only, Maxwell, is back! The soul singer returned recently with a new single for our listening pleasures. The track, titled “Off,” is his first drop since 2018’s “We Never Saw it Coming.” The track was originally a single from the final installment of his trilogy blacksummers’NIGHT. The project was slated to follow 2009’s BLACKsummers’night and 2016’s blackSUMMERS’night. Now it appears that the final installment will arrive sometime in 2022.
The single is the first official single from the project. Maxwell gets an incredible instrumental to showcase his vocal prowess. He doesn’t disappoint, unleashing something strictly for the bedroom. The singer shows off his range over this incredibly smooth instrumental, offering a dose of his vocal prowess and penmanship. Maxwell never lets us down, and he certainly doesn’t start with this one. As we stated earlier, “Off” is the lead single from the final installment of his trilogy blacksummers’NIGHT.
