For those of you who love rap music and lyricism, pay attention. Chicago’s very own, Mpulse is back with something new, showing off his lyrical prowess with a brand new video. For anyone unfamiliar with Mpulse, let this be your formal introduction. After Mpulse’s “52 Weeks” campaign and a slurry of EP’s, he fell back in preparation of becoming a father. After a bit of a hiatus, the lyricist serves up an impressive new track called “Manifest.”
The track comes to life in a simple, yet effective video that puts a focus on the artist’s talents behind the mic. “Manifest” serves as a teaser. Not only is this new video a way for Mpulse to ease his way back into releasing more content. The video also serves as a gear up to a new project that Mpulse plans on dropping sooner-than-later. Mpulse can be found simply showing off his lyrical talents over top of an impressive, infectious instrumental. He does so in a gritty setting with just himself and his mic; because what more does a lyricist really need?
