The good folks over at adidas are back. Today Derrick Rose and the brand with the three stripes return to reveal the D Rose 11 Sweet Home Chicago. They also revealed the Fast Don’t Lie, Brenda, and Family First colorways. The D Rose 11 marks over a decade of signature footwear, further elevating the range of footwear from adidas Basketball.
The D Rose 11 boasts elements from Derrick’s previous signature shoes. The sneaker features cues from the best designs and features into one. The silhouette features LIGHTSTRIKE midsole technology, offering lightweight cushioning for explosive movement and speed. Derrick’s signature logo is featured on all of the sneakers, and the heel boasts four stars that pay homage to his Chicago roots. The Sweet Home Chicago colorway features a black and red color scheme that has become customary to each of Derrick’s previous releases.
The Fast Don’t Lie iteration features a neon upper and outsole that shows the star’s continued shine. The Brenda colorway is a homage to his mother, Brenda Rose. The sneakers are host to a translucent outsole with several roses. There is also a printed logo on the tongue, which is a reference to Derrick’s tattoo that is dedicated to his mother. Finally, the Family First iteration pays tribute to those who have stood by him from the beginning. The sneaker features a black and white upper with a multicolored outsole.
