The one and only, Rejjie Snow, is back. If you haven’t gotten familiar with the Dublin-bred rapper/songwriter, it’s time to do so. He’s back with a brand new album for our listening enjoyment called ‘Baw Baw Black Sheep.’ The new project is an incredible collection of new material, coming equipped with fourteen all-new tracks. Rejjie recently opened up about the album and his creative process for the album.
He stated: “I approached it lightheartedly from the point of view of making a short film through music.” Snow went on to say, “I always loved Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. I watch it all the time. I thought of Baw Baw BlackSheep like a soundtrack to it. I put the movie on with my album, and they synced up perfectly. I tried to tap into all of these feelings. The music is really colorful, and the lyrics are often happy because that was my state of mind.”
The album includes all-new material with features from MF DOOM, Snoh Aalegra, Cam O’bi, Tinashe, Dee Lilly, and others.
