If you haven’t yet experienced the talents of Rod Wave, you are missing out. The singer/songwriter is prepping his third studio album, which is slated to drop early this year, and he returns with a brand new single for our listening pleasures. Mr. Wave serves up a new single entitled “Cold December.” The track samples Hank Williams Jr.’s 1979 song “OD’d In Denver” and finds Rod pouring out his heart about love.
The artist shows off his vocal prowess while opening up about how volatile love can be. The track comes to life in a cinematic video directed by Reel Goats. Rod has been making waves (no pun intended. Just kidding, it’s always intended.) since he dropped his first project. With his third album on the way, we’re excited to see what else he has to offer.
