Saba – ‘Few Good Things’

The one and only Saba is back. The Chicago artist returned over the weekend with his highly anticipated new album, ‘Few Good Things.’ The album is Saba’s first project since 2018’s Care For Me, and he doesn’t let us down. The track is led by “Fearmonger,” “Come My Way,” featuring Krayzie Bone, and “Survivor’s Guilt” featuring G Herbo. The rest of the album includes fourteen new tracks with contributions from 6lack, Smino, Black Thought, Mereba, Fousheé, Eryn Allen Kane, the Pivot Gang, and a few others. Saba released a statement regarding the album.

The wordsmith noted: “For so long, I’ve waited for people to understand our place in this industry, our art, and what we represent.” He added, “I’ve realized now after being ‘here’ for almost ten years that I should have just defined this shit for you. It’s not that I feel completely misrepresented, it’s that I want to create space for myself and this experience to be represented wholly.” The statement goes on to say, “I get it. I understand how it’s easy to only get grief and loss and suffering out of my music, but let’s acknowledge the full spectrum of black emotion when dealing with this album.” He then added, “We grieve. And we also celebrate. And we fuck. And we get money. And we been broke. And we get happy. And we get high. And we are more than one thing at all the same time.”

Check out the impressive new opus, ‘Few Good Things’ in the stream below, and be sure to check out standouts like “Still,” “2012,” and “Few Good Things.” In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more new music coming very soon.
