The good folks over at Converse Addict are back at it again. This time around, they return with a brand new collaboration. This follows up the previous GORE-TEX-clad drop, offering a set of Chuck Taylors boasting graphics from UNDERCOVER. Based in Japan, Converse Addict is a premium sneaker line under the Converse family. They update classic silhouettes with elevate materials for a premium approach, offering outstanding quality and craftsmanship in the process. Their latest collaboration arrives in two monochrome colorways, arriving in both the Hi and Low silhouettes.
We see one in black, rocking repeated prints of UC’s signature teddy bear with screws. The motif is repeated from the tongue all the way to its lower body, complemented by white laces and top-stitching. The sneaker is also host to Converse’s classic rubber toe cap and midsole. The low-top comes in white with the same illustrations, though inverted. Both models also rock a detachable EVA cup PORON® insole, stacked a Vibram sole. The new UNDERCOVER x Converse Addict Chuck Taylors will be available exclusively at the UNDERCOVER store in Aoyama, as well as the MADSTORE in Harajuku. For those interested in purchasing the kicks, you are required to enter an online raffle at undercoverism.com, taking place on October 16th, from 10 am – 8 pm JST; don’t miss out.
