While Winter weather is still affecting some of us, the world of fashion is looking forward to warmer weather. Spring and Summer are on the horizon, and today Avnier is back with a brand new collection for what’s in store. Today we get our first look at the “Mirage Effect” Collection, inspired by “The Marathon des Sables,” a 160-mile race through the Sahara. The collection offers a paradox between freedom and restraint, doing so with a sense of endless freedom.
The range includes both casual silhouettes as well as activewear conveying a sense of exploration and adventure. Layering options include T-shirts and shorts, which are enhanced and supplemented with transitional details such as breathable zippers and mesh panels. Elsewhere we see cotton fabrics with slightly washed out, organic tints for a relaxed aesthetic. The lineup is offered in an earthy palette of sand, ivory and washed stone. To contrast these colors, we find blues and holographic details, adding a pop of detail in the process.
