Tommy Hilfiger and AAPE by A Bathing Ape are at it once again. This time around, the two labels have come together to drop off a collection of unisex apparel and more. The new collection offers cold weather-inspired designs that offer skate-centric designs such as outerwear and various accessories. The collection is draped in style and includes a collectible skateboard. The lineup marks the second time the two have joined forces, this time exploring primary colors, bold motifs, and assorted graphics.
The collection pays homage to local New York City-based skaters Kyota Umeki, Lucinda Jacobson, Brandon Scott James, and Hank Korsan, blending AAPE’s classic camo print with Tommy Jeans’ plaid details. The apparel is understated and eye-catching, serving as a symbiosis of streetwear and skate culture.
The lineup features an array of two-tone, cold-weather essentials such as beanies, branded denim overalls, and a two-in-one jacket featuring a cool-toned buffalo check motif and interior plush teddy lining. We can’t forget to mention the colorblock reversible vest, which is ideal for winter layering. The two have delivered something special, again showcasing the best of both worlds in terms of style and design.
