Known for blending time and style, G-SHOCK has returned. The robust Mudmaster is becoming one of the brand’s most sought-after pieces thanks to a bevy of outstanding collaborations. After pairing up with the non-profit Wildlife Promising as well as the British Army, G-SHOCK returns with another collabo. This time around, they have partnered with the snowboard company Burton for a limited run. The two have come together for a monochromatic tonal approach, offering something clean and classic in the process. The timepiece is host to black, gray, and silver details while touches of pink are seen throughout.
These are included on the Burton logo and compass bearings, as well as “Connect” pusher label on the casing. However, the most eye-catching detail is the custom strap made specifically for this collaboration. The strap features a snow-covered tree camo pattern inspired by photographs taken by world-class snowboard photographer Dean Blotto Gray.
The timepiece itself is host to all of the functionality we’ve come to expect. It boasts 200m water resistance, four different sensors offering a compass, a pedometer, a barometer, and even an altimeter. If that was enough, it also features information for all 38 timezones labeled by corresponding cities, up to five daily alarms, a 1/100th second stopwatch, and a countdown timer.
