Style x Shade | Garrett Leight Launches Hat To Benefit LA Homeless

When it comes to iconic eyewear and style, Garrett Leight California Optical has made quite a name for themselves. Today the iconic imprint is back, looking to make a difference with their latest creation. Garrett Leight has launched a limited edition 90291 hat. Aiming to give back to the homeless community in the area. The limited-edition dad hat with the Venice zip code connects to the brand’s Venice roots while giving back to the area. All profits will be donated to the Los Angeles based non-profit organization, PATH.

Founder, Garrett Leight, spoke about the design and the reasoning behind the hat. He stated: “Being born and raised in Venice, California, and continuing to raise a family there today, the city and community means a great deal to me. Seeing the increase in the homeless population firsthand on the westside of Los Angeles, as well as many other parts of the country, I’ve grown passionate about the cause and wanted to do my part to take action. I’m thrilled to donate to PATH, who strives to find permanent housing and provide services for our neighbors in need”. The hat is simple and understated, arriving in two unique colors. Offered in mint or yellow, the hat is available in limited quantities. The mint colorway will be exclusive to the Abbot Kinney flagship location. While the yellow colorway available for purchase on garrettleight.com.
