If you haven’t gotten familiar with the sounds of Symba, now would be a great time to do so. The wordsmith returns with his first solo offering of 2022, unleashing a new single called “GOAT.” The track follows his 2020 project, Don’t Run From R.A.P., and appearances on the Space Jam 2 soundtrack and 2 Chainz‘ Dope Don’t Sell Itself album. “GOAT” also serves as the first single from his forthcoming project, Results Take Time.
The rapper shows off his lyrical prowess yet again, this time over top of a classic hip-hop instrumental. The track is pushed by these soulful vocal samples while paired with some laid-back, punchy drum sections. The combination allows the Bay Area rapper to express his thoughts while he takes the opportunity to open up about the rap game. Symba always provides something worth adding to the rotation, and “GOAT” is no different. The track also comes to life in a fitting set of visuals, which can be seen below.
